Sweet Peach Palette | C&D Move to L.V. | My favorite palette for any makeup look!

I’m a self proclaimed makeup addict. I love watching YouTube tutorials and product reviews about the latest makeup trend or the new hot product. Although I’m not a trained makeup artist, these beauty products work best for me and my skin type.

I have combination-normal skin with yellow undertones. When I do have acne, I get it on my forehead and on my chin. In addition, I like to wear minimal makeup, or at least look like I’m wearing minimal makeup. Therefore, these 5 products help me achieve a natural, minimal, and put together look.

  1. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer | C&D Move to L.V. | The beauty gurus did not lie about this product. This is the best concealer EVER!I really don’t like to wear foundation, so I usually opt for concealer on the areas that I need coverage. I first heard about this concealer on YouTube. Beauty gurus like Jaclyn Hill, Casey Holmes, and Cosmobyhaley were raving about this concealer. Of course I just had to have it and I’m so glad I purchased this. I have very dark eyes thanks to my Southern Italian complexion. It is almost impossible for me to find a concealer that covers my darkness, but this concealer does! ¬†This concealer is so good. It looks like skin and I don’t need to set this with powder, which I hate doing since it always makes me feel cakey. This also doesn’t crease on me. I use this on all my spots and also to shape out my brows. I’m in the shade light neutral and when I’m not tanned it matches my skin tone perfectly. Most concealers are either too pink or too yellow for me, so I really appreciate the different shades and tones this product comes in. I will probably never use another concealer again in my life.
  2. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush | C&D Move to L.V. | Add a natural flush to your cheeks with this creme blush. I’ve given this product lots of love. The Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush is a creme product that can be applied with a brush, sponge, or fingers. My two favorite colors are Cool Coral and Fresh Pink. Most of the time I mixed the two. I like the formula of these blushes because it melts into the skin instead of sitting on top of the skin. These products also last forever because you need so little product to get great payoff color. I don’t know why more people in the beauty community don’t talk about these blushes. In addition, these are great to travel with because you don’t need a brush to apply this product. I took these with me to Italy and just used my fingers and they work just as well as a brush or sponge. Plus they are not considered a liquid so you don’t have to worry about airport restrictions. Overall this is great drugstore blush with amazing color payoff.
  3. NYX HD Finishing Powder in Banana
NYX Finishing Powder | C&D Move to L.V. | This is a great alternative for higher end banana powdersSince I have a yellow undertone to my skin, I find banana powders to be the best shade for my skin tone. A lot of translucent powders make me look ashy and other tinted powders drown me out. I was using the Smashbox Contour palette, but I hit pan on the banana powder and I couldn’t justify spending $45 on the palette when I really only use one color. So I was on the hunt for a banana powder and I found this one. It is a little more yellow than the Smashbox, but it is close enough that I was willing to spend my money on. Plus, the NYX powder has a lot more product in than the Smashbox one. This powder definitely brightens my skin tone and it doesn’t make my makeup cakey. It is super soft to touch in the pan and on the skin. I love to use this under my eyes with the Tarte Shape Tape concealer. I’ve tried to use this with a damp sponge and it works, but just not as well as with a brush.
  4. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Maybelline Mascara | C&D Move to L.V. | A great dupe for Benefit's Roller Lash My eyelashes are very long and thick, but they have zero curl to them. I need to use an eyelash curler and I have to be careful I don’t use too much mascara or my eyelashes will get to heavy and fall. I’ve used lots of high end brand mascaras and they are usually great, but this Maybelline mascara is just as good as the high end ones and half the price. This keeps the curl in my lashes all day long. They make this mascara in a waterproof version too, but I hate waterproof mascara because I feel like I can never get it off 100%. This formula also does not clump on me, yet my eyelashes still look voluminous. There are a ton of people in the beauty and lifestyle community who use this product like Zoella and Jamie Paige.
  5. Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette
Sweet Peach Palette | C&D Move to L.V. | My favorite palette for any makeup look! When Too Faced revamped the Sweet Peach Palette last year I had to have it. With Christmas around the corner, I put this on my list. I was so happy I got this on Christmas morning. The colors blend well and the pigmentation is great. This palette is well loved. I’ve used this on all my friends and we all have different eye shape, eye color, and skin tone. This palette looked great on all of us. In addition, I can say I’ve used every single color. The darker less wearable shades like the blue and purple look great in the outer v with some of the more bronzier shades. The pink shades are awesome as transition colors as well. Although there isn’t a matte black in this palette, the dark colors are deep enough that you get the same effect if you want a really smokey eye. Plus, the smell is unreal. I’ve had this for 7 months and it still smells!

There you have it! My top five must have beauty products! I genuinely use these products every day of my life and I truly love them. If you enjoyed this post, please don’t forget to share and make sure you subscribe to our blog!
